About Michelle

My name is Michelle Lasson and I am a Senior Loan Officer with First State Bank Mortgage in Osage Beach, MO.  I began my career in the mortgage industry in May of 2000 with a small mortgage company as a receptionist and was quickly promoted to processor and closer.  My husband, Michael, and I have worked together as a team in this industry for 17 years.  I was his processor/closer and as of January 2017 decided to expand my duties and transitioned into the role of a Loan Officer.

Prior to the mortgage industry, I worked for a Real Estate Attorney for two years and a title company/law firm for nine years.  With my background working in several areas of the real estate/mortgage industry, I have the knowledge of what needs to happen during the process to make it as smooth as possible and assist in any way possible.

Michael and I joined our families together in 1999 and have six children, between the two of us, and have seven wonderful grandchildren.  We enjoy spending time with our family and go camping as much as possible.

When we purchased our first home, we had a terrible experience and when we entered into the mortgage lending industry, we made it our goal to make the mortgage loan experience as simple as possible for our borrowers.  We are big on communication with all necessary parties so that everyone knows where we are in the process and we try to answer all questions as quickly as possible.  We have built great relationships with our title companies, insurance agents, appraisers and realtor partners so that our borrowers get to enjoy their new properties as soon as possible.
